AAHA Lou Manzione Scholarship - Two scholarships of $1,000 each are awarded to a high school senior from New Jersey and one from Pennsylvania.


Richard Zana Scholarship Fund - The $1,000 - $2,000 scholarship is named for an outstanding musician and teacher who instilled a deep love of music in his students and brought joy to all who knew him.


F. Lammot Belin Arts Scholarship - Applicant must be a resident of Northeastern Pennsylvania and must submit a detailed proposal for use of grant monies including a projected budget.


Actuarial Diversity Scholarship - Applicants must be intent on pursuing a career in the actuarial profession and must have at least one birth parent who is a member of the following minority groups: African American, Hispanic American, Native North American, and Pacific Islander.

Endowment for South Asian Students of Indian Descent Scholarship Fund- Applicants must be a Pennsylvania resident for at least a year before registering as a medical student. Applicants must have completed FASFA. Applicants must also be South Indian or a descendant of a South Indian immigrant to the United States.


The Hellenic University Club of Philadelphia Undergraduate Scholarship- The Hellenic University club annually grants scholarships to students of Greek descent who have outstanding academic qualifications and a serious financial need. The scholarship valued at $1,000 is awarded to one student annually.


The Hussain Scholarship Fund- Applicants must be a student of South Asian Association descent from the Regional Cooperation Countries which include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Applicants must be enrolled in a college, university, in the Philadelphia region and must have a GPA of 3.0. Completed applications are due by April 4. The $1,000 scholarship is awarded to only one student.

The Korean American Scholarship Foundation - The foundation assists Korean American students in pursuit of academic and personal achievement, encourage community and civic services, and nurture the sense of pride and confidence in Korean cultural heritage and tradition. The scholarship ranges in value from $500 to $5,000 is for applicants of Korean heritage: this includes Korean nationals.


The Luther and Mary Ida Vandross Scholarship - This scholarship was established by the legendary and beloved singer, Luther Vandross, and his mother, Mary Ida. The scholarship is to assist students who plan to attend a historically black college or university.

The NAAAP Philadelphia Scholarship - The National Association of Asian American Professionals, Philadelphia Chapter is a non-profit 501 (c)93) all volunteer professional organization that strives to cultivate and develop tomorrow's leaders and to rewards deserving Asian-American students living in Philadelphia who have high leadership skills and are pursuing a college degree. The $1,000 scholarship is given to a student who is a U.S. citizen of Asian or Asian -American descent.

Twin Tiers Youth for Christ Scholarship - Twin Tiers Youth for Christ is an organization that has set as a goal recognizing and encouraging young adults who are developing as committed Christians. Two scholarships of $4,000 are awarded annually.

Beverly J. Smith Memorial Scholarship- Ms. Smith was a nationally known humanitarian who was a respected expert on resettlement and immigration issues. Her life was devoted to helping people regardless of their ethnicity get a new start in life by helping them get an education, a home, healthcare, and when needed legal advice. One scholarship of $2,500 is awarded annually.

Presbyterian Student Opportunity Scholarship- This scholarship serves the youth of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) by providing need-based aid for sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are full-time, first-degree students attending accredited institutions in the U.S.

I Matter Scholarship - The "I Matter" Scholarship scholarship will provide tuition assistance to graduating seniors enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program come fall. Fifty $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to applicants who are high school students attending a school in a metropolitan area with a VILLA store.

The Lighthouse Guild Scholarships- The Lighthouse Guilds Scholarship program helps legally blind students from all over the country attend college by awarding them a $100,000 scholarship. These outstanding and deserving young people have won this recognition based on their strong academic accomplishments.

Duck Brand Stuck at Prom Scholarships- The Henkal Corporation's Duck Brand "Duct Tape Stuck at Prom Contest" is a unique and hilarious concept to award and encourage creativity. It is open to anyone who is a legal resident of the United States and Canada; regrettably, Puerto Rico and Quebec are unfortunately excluded. The contest rewards the creative talents of individuals who make and wear a prom outfit made completely out of duct tape. Fifty scholarships of $10,000 will be awarded.


Bradford-Sullivan Forest Landowners Association Scholarship- This scholarship is available to students majoring in forestry, agricultural and natural resource management, environmental education, and related fields of study.Applicants must be a Bradford or Sullivan County resident who plans to major in forestry, environmental resources management, agriculture, agronomy, parks, or environmental education. Applicants must be a high school senior or college undergraduate enrolled in a three or four-year program. One $1,000 scholarship is awarded.

Pride GVL Rainbow Scholarship Fund - College-bound teens who want to increase the positive visibility of homosexual youth while promoting awareness and acceptance of alternate lifestyles in the community at large will appreciate this scholarship. The Rainbow Scholarship seeks to assist the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender with financial aid funding that is not biased or judgmental. Three $500 scholarships are awarded annually.

Pennsylvania Chafee Education Training Grant Program- This grant program is designed for undergraduate students who are aging out of the state's foster care program. The applicant must be in foster care or recently discharged from foster care. The applicant must be enrolled at least half-time at an approved state college or career school. The maximum annual amount awarded is $3,000. 

Pennsylvania Post-Secondary Educational Gratuity Program- College-bound students who are children of first responders who have been killed in the line of duty are the recipients of this grant. The applicant must be the child of a police officer, firefighter, rescue or ambulance squad member who died as a result of or while performing service to the community. Students must be enrolled at least half-time at a participating college, university, or trade school. Award amounts vary and are determined by financial need.

Allegra Ford Thomas Scholarship- The Allegra Ford Thomas Scholarship is awarded to a student scholar who is a graduating high school senior with a documented learning disability. The student must be enrolled in a two-year community college, vocation school, technical training program, or specialized program for students with LD. This one-time scholarship of $2,500 is awarded to a student who articulates his LD and recognizes the need for self-advocacy. The applicant must demonstrate financial need as well as perseverance in his commitment to achieving personal goals despite the challenges of LD. The applicant must be a U.S. citizen and must participate in school and community activities.


Christine H. Eide Memorial Scholarship- This scholarship is provided by Lighthouse International. The $500 scholarship is awarded to a legally blind full-time undergraduate or graduate student entering or attending an accredited college or university. The applicant must have a legal address in the states of Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. A three-page essay is a required part of the application process.

The Alexander Graham Bell Scholarship- This is a merit-based scholarship. The number of awards varies, and the scholarship amounts are between $2,500 - $10,000. Applicants must have hearing loss that was documented before the age of four. The applicants Listening and Spoken Language must be the primary mode of communication.

Richard A. Ash Scholarship - The Richard A. Ash scholarship is awarded to a high school senior or undergraduate college student. Ten to twenty renewable scholarships valued at $1,000 or up to 90% of the educational cost will be awarded to applicants who demonstrate financial need and are Philadelphia residents.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Delta Iota Chapter 50th Anniversary Scholarship- This scholarship is offered to second, third, or fourth-year college students. Three scholarships valued at $1,000 will be awarded to applicants who are enrolled in Cheyney University. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, have a minimum GPA of 2.7, and demonstrate leadership experience.

Alpha Phi Alpha Scholarship - The Alpha Phi Alpha Scholarship is awarded to a high school senior or an undergraduate college student. Two scholarships valued at $2,000 are awarded to students who have evidence of their leadership potential and who are involved in extracurricular activities.


American Association of University Women Carlisle Branch- The Carlisle Branch of the AAUW offers this scholarship to a qualifying Cumberland County, female college student. Two students will receive the $1,500 scholarship at theCarlisle branch's April meeting. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and must have completed one year of college. Applicants must be willing to give the Carlisle branch permission to use their biographical information, their name, and their picture for use in the branch's publication. Applicants must also be enrolled in an educational program that upon completion will make her eligible for membership in AAUW.

Bryn Mawr Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association Nursing Scholarship- High school seniors and undergraduate college students who are a relative of the Bryn Mawr Hospital school of nursing are eligible for this scholarship. Two one-time scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded to candidates who have been proposed by a Bryn Mawr graduate. Candidates for the scholarship must be a resident of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, or Philadelphia County in Pennsylvania.

Clarkston Scholars Program - The Clarkston Scholarship is for the student who is a highly-driven scholar who excels in the classroom and is passionate about the life sciences industry and plans upon graduation to pursue a career in the industry.

Pennsylvania State Employees Combined Campaign Scholarship - Amount: Up to $4,000 - Scholarship is open to residents of Pennsylvania who are enrolled full-time at a UNCF member college or university. Applicant must complete the FAFSA, be Pell Grant eligible, and have a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Supply Chain Management Education Scholarship - Amount: $1,000 - Scholarship is open to undergraduate students majoring in Supply Chain Management who are either permanent residents or students in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, California, or Illinois.

Marcena Lozano Donate Life Scholarship Fund - Amount: Up to $3,000 - Scholarship is open to organ transplant recipients who are between the ages of 17 and 26 and reside in New York or Pennsylvania. Applicant must be a current or incoming college student.

Belin Arts Scholarship - Amount: Up to $12,000 - Scholarship is open to individuals with talent in painting, sculpture, photography, music, drama, dance, literature, or architecture. Preference will be given to residents of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
