OTF Scholarship - Students who are currently enrolled and completed one year of an occupational therapy program accredited by The American Occupational Therapy Foundation (AOTF) are eligible to apply for the AOTF Scholarship.

Anna Kidd Scholarship - The Anna Kidd Scholarship is for college freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors or fifth-year student in any degree program at Fort Hays State University.


Bishop Quayle Award- For students attending the College of Arts and Sciences at Baker University. Applicants must be an active member of a participating church and that church. $1,200.

Bryan Dunn & Matt Michael Memorial Scholarship - Students who are attending the Pittsburg State University Keice College of Business may apply for the Bryan Dunn & Matt Michael Memorial Scholarship.


Capitol Federal Savings Scholarship - For Emporia State University undergraduate or graduate students who are enrolled in the School of Business.


Charles and Bertha Chism Art Scholarship - Barton County residents who wish to pursue a degree in visual arts are eligible to apply for the Charles and Bertha Chism Art Scholarship. Applicants must plan to attend Fort Hays State University. Official transcripts, as well as ACT or SAT scores, may also be required.


Children of Employees of A & A Coors, Inc.; Hays Scholarship - Children of full-time employees of A & A Coors, Inc. in Hays, Kansas or Wholesale Beverage Company in Colby, Kansas, may apply for the Children of Employees of A & A Coors, Inc.


Crimson and Blue Scholarship - The Crimson and Blue Scholarship at the University of Kansas is available to students who demonstrate academic achievement and leadership. $2,000 

Dan L. Meisinger Sr. Memorial Learn to Fly Scholarship- College student enrolled in an aviation program with a “B” average, or better is eligible to apply.

Elberta Harris Scholarship - To encourage students to enter the teaching profession.

Gregory Fleming Scholarship - $500 Must be able to demonstrate how they overcame adversity, whether academic, social or cultural at the elementary, middle or high school level. Applicants must also demonstrate a drive for life through involvement in the community, school, church or other activities. A sense of humor is also important.


Hixon Opportunity Award- For first-generation college students.


Irving W. Cook, WAoCGS Scholarship - $1,000 For any resident of Kansas who holds any active amateur radio class license who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in electronics, communications or a related field.


James B. Pearson Fellowship - Students studying foreign affairs. $2,445


KASF Scholarship –Students of Korean heritage may apply regardless of their citizenship status. Demonstration of financial need is required.

Kansas Comprehensive Grant- For needy Kansas residents enrolled full-time at 18 private colleges and universities.


Kansas Dental Education Opportunities Program- Kansas residents may apply for the Kansas Dental Education Opportunities which pays the difference between resident and non-resident tuition at the University of Missouri in Kansas City.


Kansas Distinguished Scholarship Program - Students who have been designated Brasenose, Clevening, Fulbright, Madison, Marshall, Mellon, Rhodes or Truman Scholars are eligible for the Kansas Distinguished Scholarship Program.


Kansas Ethnic Minority Scholarship - For those who wish to attend a Kansas college or university. $1,850 


Kansas Military Service Scholarship- The Kansas Military Service Scholarship is available to Kansas residents who have served in the military in international waters or on foreign soil in support of military operations. The student must have earned hostile fire pay for at least 90 days after September 11, 2001 or served less than 90 days due to injury during their military service.


Kansas National Guard Educational Assistance - Applicants must be enlisted in the Kansas Air or Army National Guard. Full-time enrollment is not required.


Kansas Nursing Service Scholarship - For Kansas residents who are committed to practicing as an LPN or RN in the state.


Kansas Optometry Service Scholarships - Designed to encourage optometrists to establish a practice in the state.


Kansas Osteopathic Medical Service Scholarship - For primary care physicians who are willing to establish practices in rural areas of Kansas. $15,000.

Lora C. and Sam R. Woods Scholarship - For residents of Edwards County, who must be pursuing a degree in nursing or another health-related profession. First preference is given to students enrolled in nursing programs.


Nolan Moore Memorial Education Foundation Scholarship- For students pursuing a career in printing technology or management. $2,500 

Paul and Helen L. Grauer Scholarship- For anyone holding an active amateur radio license class in the Midwest Division of ARRL, which includes Kansas. $1,000

Phi Kappa Phi Fellowship- 60 Fellowships of $5,000 as well as 40 Awards of Excellence of $2,000 each who are entering their first year of graduate or professional study.

Rodney and Lois Scott Scholarship - Must be enrolled in either the College of Business and Leadership or the Math Department. Preference is given to students who are residents of Decatur and Sheridan County.


Sedgwick County Scholarship - For Wichita State University students who are attending either full- or part-time. $1,000 for part-time and $2,000 for full-time students.


Soroptimist International of Hays Women’s Opportunity Award- Women who are heads of household may apply.

State Scholars Program - $1,000 

Vocational Scholarship - 240 Scholarships at @$1000 to $5000.


Walter S. & Evan C. Jones Foundation Education Scholarship - Must be high school graduates and must demonstrate financial need. Must be enrolled in 12 credit hours or more at an accredited college or university.

Hagan Scholarships - Amount: Up to $5,000 each semester - For graduating high school seniors with at least a 3.5 GPA and from a rural area (a county with less than 50,000 people). Applicant must live in an eligible state (see website for details – Middle America) and demonstrate financial need.

Dan L. Meisinger, Sr. Memorial Learn to Fly Scholarship - Amount: $2,500 - For college students currently enrolled in an aviation program who are high academic achievers with a “B” average or better. Residents of Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois will be given preference.

Harley and Geneva Anderson Memorial Scholarship - For students who are either a resident of or is enrolled at an educational institution in the Greater Kansas City metropolitan region accepted to study at a high school or college in a Scandinavian Country (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland or Iceland), or be a full-time student that resides in a Scandinavian country accepted to study at a high school or college in the Greater Kansas City metropolitan region.

Kelly Lynn Lutz Memorial Scholarship - Amount: $2,000 - For current college students in Kansas and Missouri who have lost at least one parent (biological or non) to cancer before the age of 22. Applicant must have an interest in education, arts, environment, math, or science.

Celebrate the West High School Art Competition - Amount: Up to $1,200 - For high school students (grades 9-12) in public, private, charter, and alternative schools. Home-schooled students in that age group also may enter.
