Huebner Scholarship - Available to children and grandchildren of former members of the 1st Infantry Division, as well as children of active-duty division soldiers. The $2,500 award is renewable up to $10,000 for students who have already been accepted into a college or university. Be sure to gather materials, such as proof of your family member’s service with the 1st Infantry Division, in plenty of time.
The Marine Corps Tankers Association offers the John Cornelius-Max English Memorial Scholarship for children and grandchildren of an active, reserve or honorably discharged Marine Corps Tanker. The amount of the award is dependent on donations, but will be at least $2,000.
Dolphin Scholarship Foundation - Sponsors more than 100 students pursuing postsecondary education. The students receive an annual scholarship of $3,400 that is renewable for up to eight semesters or up to a total of $13,600.
The Air Force Sergeants Association and the Airmen Memorial Foundation jointly sponsor a scholarship program to financially support the undergraduate studies of eligible, dependent children of the Air Force. The scholarship awards range from $500 to $3,000 and are awarded based on the applicant’s academic record, character, leadership skills, writing ability, versatility and potential for success.
Coast Guard Foundation’s scholarship program has awarded more than $3 million in scholarship funds, helping more than 350 students achieve their college dreams. College-bound high school seniors as well as children of active, retired or deceased members of the U.S. Coast Guard are eligible to apply.
The Jewish War Veterans of the USA - Sponsors an essay contest for current service members and veterans who plan to attend or who are attending an accredited associate, bachelor’s, or nursing degree program. The three grants available range from $1,000 to $2,500.
