Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program - Amount: Up to $7,500 - Description: Scholarship is open to college sophomores and juniors who intend to pursue research careers in the natural sciences, mathematics or engineering.

QCESC Scholarship - Open to high school seniors who plan on studying STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) at an accredited college or university. Applicant must be a Quad City area resident in the Illinois Counties of Carroll, Henry, Knox, Lee, Mercer, Rock Island, or Whiteside, or in the Iowa Counties of Clinton, Scott, Muscatine, or Louisa.

Shred Nations Scholarship - Amount: Up to $5,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students with at least a 3.0 GPA and have an interest in business, environmental studies or the shredding and recycling industry.

AIAA Scholarships - Description: Scholarships are open to current AIAA student members who have completed at least one academic semester and are studying science or engineering encompassed by the technical activities of AIAA. In addition to the general scholarships, there are scholarships open specifically to students studying Astronautics or Aeronautics, female students, and students who attend a college within the Rocky Mountain Section (Colorado, Wyoming or Montana).

EAA Scholarships - Description: Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors and current college students. Applicants must be majoring in Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field. In addition to general scholarships, there are scholarships for students in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

EPP/MSI Undergraduate Scholarship Program - Amount: Up to $45,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens who are currently enrolled as a full-time 2nd year student in a four-year academic program; or transferring from a two-year to a four-year institution, or a 3rd year student in a five-year program. Applicant must be studying a discipline related to NOAA’s programs and mission at an accredited minority serving institution.

Ernest F. Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship - Amount: Up to $9,500 - Description: Scholarship is open to full-time sophomore students who are majoring in a discipline related to NOAA’s programs and missions. Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be a U.S. citizen.

Microsoft Scholarship Program - Description: Scholarship is open to students enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s degree program at a four-year college or university in the United States, Canada, or Mexico. Applicant must be pursuing a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM degree. Students from underrepresented groups of STEM are encouraged to apply.

STEM Scholarship - Amount: $1,500 - For students who are interested in pursuing a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) major. Applicant must be 16-22 years old at the time of entry and be a registered user of NextStepU.com

ANS Scholarships - Amount: Up to $5,000 - Description: Scholarships are open to current undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree in nuclear science, nuclear engineering, or a nuclear-related field.

Bart Kamen Memorial FIRST Scholarship - Amount: $10,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who have been accepted to, or applied for admission, to an eligible undergraduate program, which means a full-time program in Biomedical Engineering, pre-medical studies, or a program that allows students to pursue a chosen major while simultaneously completing a subset of medical school prep courses. Applicant must have participated as a team member for a minimum of one year on a FIRST LEGO League, FIRST Tech Challenge, or FIRST Robotics Competition team.

Dan Klepper Memorial Scholarship - Amount: $2,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to currently enrolled college students in Texas who are preparing for a career relating to the outdoors, environmental conservation, or wildlife management and conservation and whose plans include communicating their findings, opinions, and observations with the general public through mass media.


Enterprise Education Foundation Scholarship - Amount: $5,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors at specific Minnesota high schools (see website for details). Applicant must plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university located in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota and plan to pursue study in Business, Finance, MIS, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Pre-Law, or Pre-Med..

GCFM Scholarships - Description: Scholarships are open to current college students who are legal residents of Maine and majoring in Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Design, Conservation, Forestry, Botany, Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Environmental Concerns, Ecology, Land Management and other garden-related fields.

Henry David Thoreau Scholarship - Description: Scholarship is open to students who reside in Massachusetts and are in their final year at a Massachusetts high school. Applicant must plan to enroll in college the year that the scholarship is awarded and demonstrate strong academic qualifications and a commitment to an environmental field.

Kia Motors America STEM/Sustainability Scholarship - Amount: $3,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to college juniors and seniors who attend a UNCF member institution and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be majoring in one of the following disciplines: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Biomedical Science, Engineering, or Sustainability/Environmental Science.

Museum of Flight Student Scholarships - Amount: Up to $29,500 - Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors planning to attend a college or university in science, engineering or mathematics related to the field of aviation or aerospace.

National Garden Clubs College Scholarships - Description: Scholarships are open to current undergraduate and graduate students majoring in Agronomy, Agriculture Education, Floriculture, Horticulture, Landscape Design, Botany, Forestry, Wildlife Science, Plant Pathology/Science, City Planning, Habitat or Forest/Systems Ecology, Environmental Concerns, Land Management or other related or allied subjects.

NJMCA Scholarships - Description: Scholarships are open to New Jersey high school seniors and graduate students who either have studied mosquitos (graduate students) or have a family member (parent grandparent, sibling) or sponsor who is/was a member in the New Jersey mosquito control community.

RMCMI Scholarships - Description: Scholarships are open to current college students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and living in Arizona, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Texas, Utah, or Wyoming. Applicant must be studying in a field that will lead to a career in the coal industry (Engineering, Geology, etc.)

TSCRF Scholarship - Amount: At least $2,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to students who are accepted or enrolled at an accredited university in Texas or Oklahoma with plans to pursue a degree program in agriculture or an agriculture-related program (Animal Science, Pre-Vet, Agribusiness, Range Management or Wildlife).

Northrop Grumman Engineering Scholars Program - Amount: $2,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors with at least a 3.5 GPA who are from specific counties in the states of Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, New York, Ohio, Utah, or Virginia (see website for specific locations). Applicant must plan to attend an accredited four-year college or university as a full-time student in an approved engineering, computer science, mathematics or physics program.

AMS Freshman Undergraduate Scholarships - Amount: $5,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to students entering their freshman year of college in the fall of 2019 and must be planning to pursue a degree in the atmospheric or related oceanic or hydrologic sciences.

AMS Minority Scholarships - Amount: $6,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to minority students who will be entering their freshman year of college in the fall of 2019 and are planning to pursue careers in the atmospheric or related oceanic and hydrologic sciences.


AMS Senior Named Scholarships - Amount: Up to $10,000 - Description: Scholarships are open to students entering their final year of undergraduate study in the fall of 2019 and are pursuing a degree in the atmospheric or related sciences. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or hold permanent residence status and must have at least a 3.25 GPA.

Alliant Energy Innovation Scholarship - Amount: $1,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to a dependent child of a current customer, or current customers, of one of Alliant Energy’s utility subsidiaries (Interstate Power and Light or Wisconsin Power and Light) who plans to enroll in, for the first time, beginning in the fall of 2019, a full-time undergraduate course of study in a business or STEM major at an accredited institution within the Alliant Energy service territory (Iowa or Wisconsin).

Dannon Yogurt, Probiotics and the Gut Microbiome Fellowship Grant - Amount: $25,000 - Description: Fellowship is open to current, full-time graduate students who excel in science and have an interest in the field of the gut microbiome’s effect on human health and well-being, or in the nutritional and functional benefits of yogurt.

Leo W. and Alberta V. Thomas Utz Scholarship - Amount: $4,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to three top students (one in each of the following areas – Math, Science and English).

Past Presidents’ Legacy Scholarship - Amount: $2,500 - Description: Scholarship is open to college juniors and seniors beginning fall 2019, or graduate students with at least a 3.0 who are pursuing a study that is related to the hydropower industry: Engineering, Sciences (Biology, Fisheries, and Hydrology), communications, or environmental studies.

Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Grants - Amount: Up to $3,500 - Description: Grants are open to early career researchers (including doctoral students) proposing to conduct research in any phase of wildlife conservation or related fields of North American fauna – terrestrial and freshwater (rivers, lakes, streams), extant or fossil.

William Robert Findley Graduate Chemistry Scholarship - Amount: $2,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to students attending graduate school full-time in an accredited college or university and majoring in chemistry. Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.25.

NYS Math & Science Teaching Incentive Program - Amount: Annual award payment for full-time study equal to the annual tuition charged to a NYS resident attending an undergraduate program at the SUNY, or actual tuition, whichever is less  Description: Scholarship is open to students attending a college located in New York state and studying in a program that will lead to a career as a math or science teacher in secondary education.

Maryland & Virginia Milk Producers Cooperative Association Scholarship - Amount: $1,000 - Description: Scholarships are open to students pursuing careers in the dairy industry, and must be a son, daughter, or employee of a Maryland or Virginia member, or the child of a Maryland or Virginia employee currently enrolled at a two or four-year accredited college, university or trade school.

ROTC Scholarships - Amount: Up to $3,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to Army, Navy (including Marine Corps option) and Air Force ROTC full-time sophomore and junior students with at least an overall 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be enrolled full-time in a degree major that is related to the mission of the AFCEA educational Foundation (Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, and other STEM related majors).

Asian Pacific Fund Scholarships - Amount: Up to $20,000 - Description: Scholarships are open to students in California who are of Asian descent. Multiple scholarships available with specific requirements. See website for details. In addition to general scholarships, there are scholarships specifically open to Computer Science, Economics, Environmental or Physical Science, Engineering, Journalism or Mathematics majors, and LGBT students.

Feeding Tomorrow Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarships - For students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a variety of disciplines within the science of food.

Friends of the California State Fair Scholarship Program - $2,500 - Open to graduating high school seniors and current college students who are legal residents of California. There are 14 categories of scholarships – see website for details. In addition to the general scholarships, there are specific scholarships open to Agriculture, Art, Business, Culinary Arts, Education, Enology, Hospitality Management or Viticulture majors.

Washington State Opportunity Scholarship - Open to graduating high school seniors who are Washington state residents and will be pursuing an eligible high-demand major in science, technology engineering, math, or health care.

4-H Beekeeping Essay Competition - $750 - Description: Contest is open to active 4-H Club members. Applicant must submit an essay on the topic, “Honey Varietals, State to State.”

ACS Scholars Program - $5,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to African-American, Hispanic/Latino, and American Indian students who are graduating high school seniors or college freshmen, sophomores or juniors intending to or already majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or a chemically related science.

African American Network of the Carolinas Scholarship - $2,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to African-American graduating high school seniors from North or South Carolina who are pursuing a major in engineering, math, science, computer science, accounting, finance, or business administration.

ASEV Scholarship Programs - Open to undergraduate and graduate students studying enology or viticulture, or in a curriculum emphasizing a science basic to the wine and grape industry.

Clair A. Hill Scholarship & ACWA Scholarship - Open to California residents who will be attending a University of California or California State University campus during the 2019-2020 academic year and enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in a water resources-related field of study related to engineering, agriculture and/or urban water supply, environmental studies or public administration. Applicant must be at least a junior at the time of the award.

Clare Boothe Luce Program - Program is open to female undergraduate students who are studying in the physical science or engineering fields. Students at Catholic institutions with strong science programs are especially encouraged to apply.

CRCA Scholarship - $4,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors who are United States citizens residing in Cook County and other area counties in Illinois. Applicant must be planning to study liberal arts, sciences, engineering, architecture, or business at a four-year accredited college in the fall.

George M. Burditt/Betsy B. Woodward/Denise C. Rooney Scholarships - $2,500 - Description: Scholarship is open to current college juniors who have demonstrated a desire to serve in a career in research, regulatory work, quality control, or teaching in an area related to some aspect of food, drugs, or consumer project safety. Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA.

National Italian American Foundation Scholarships - $12,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors, undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate, medical, and legal students who will be enrolled in higher education for the Fall 2019 semester and have a GPA of at least 3.5. Applicant must have at least one ancestor who immigrated from Italy. In addition to general scholarships, there are scholarships open to specific majors and state residency.

Rubber Division Scholarship - $5,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to junior and senior college students who are majoring in chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, polymer science or a rubber industry-related field.

SEG Foundation Scholarships - $10,000 - Description: Applicant must be either a high school senior planning to enter college next fall or an undergraduate or graduate student whose grades are above average. Applicant must be intending to pursue a college curriculum directed towards a career in applied geophysics or a closely related field.

UNCF STEM Scholars Program - $2,500 per academic year for freshman and sophomore years, $5,000 for junior and senior year, and an additional $5,000 for students whose academic programs require a fifth year

Delaware Solid Waste Authority John P. “Pat” Healy Scholarship - $2,500 - Description: Scholarship is open to legal residents of Delaware who are U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens who are high school seniors or full-time college students in their freshman or sophomore years. Applicant must be majoring in either environmental engineering or environmental sciences at a Delaware college.

Morelli Scholarship - $2,500 - Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors and current college students diagnosed or presumed to have a learning challenge who are interested in pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

AABE National Scholarships - Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who are members of one of the underrepresented minority groups in the sciences or related areas of technology. Applicant must demonstrate financial need and plan to major in business, engineering, technology, mathematics, or physical science. Applicants must be sent to their local chapter for consideration.

Blades of Green Scholarship - $1,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students who are studying environmental studies or related fields. Applicant must submit a letter of intent, recommendation, and transcript.


B.O.G. Pest Control Scholarship  - $1,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students who are studying chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, environmental studies or related fields.

Independent Colleges of Washington Scholarships - $3,000 - Description: Scholarships are open to current undergraduate students who are attending a Washington Independent College. In addition to general scholarships, there are specific scholarships open to Business, STEM, and History or Political Science majors.

SAE Scholarships - Description: Scholarships are open to incoming and current undergraduate and graduate students who are U.S. residents. Applicant must be pursuing an engineering or related science degree through an ABET accredited program. There are multiple scholarships available with specific GPA and/or test score requirements.

Sustainable Agriculture Scholarship - Description: Scholarship is open to full-time undergraduate and graduate students studying at an accredited two or four-year college or graduate school in the U.S. for the 2019/2020 school year. Students must be focusing on sustainable agriculture. International students may apply as long as they are studying at a U.S. school.

Truman D. Picard Scholarship - $2,500 - Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students who are Native American and pursuing a higher education in Natural Resources.

LGS Innovations STEM Scholarship Program - $5,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to current post-secondary undergraduates (junior or senior level in the 2019-2020 academic year) or graduate-level students enrolled in an ABET-accredited STEM program seeking a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics. Applicant must have at least a 3.5 GPA.

Washington Wine Industry Foundation Scholarships - Description: Scholarship is open to students attending Washington colleges who are pursuing studies in viticulture, enology, and other wine-related studies.

AfterCollege STEM Inclusion Scholarship - $500 - Description: Scholarship is open to currently enrolled students working towards a degree in a field of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics from a group underrepresented in their field of study. Underrepresented groups may be defined by gender, race, ethnic background, disability, sexual orientation, age, socio-economic status, nationality, and other non-visible differences.

AISES A. T. Anderson Memorial Scholarship - $2,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current undergraduate and graduate students who are Native American, Alaskan Native, or Native Hawaiian. Applicant must be pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Medical Science, Physical Sciences, Technology, Science, Engineering, or Natural Resources.

American Wine Society Educational Foundation Scholarship - $3,500 - Description: Scholarship is open to full-time graduate students who have completed at least one semester in a graduate program leading to an M.S., Ph.D., or equivalent in enology, viticulture, or health aspects of wine.

Burlington North Santa Fe (BNSF) Foundation Scholarship - $2,500 - Description: Scholarship is open to Native American, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians who are graduating high school seniors and live in a state serviced by BNSF (Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, and Washington). Applicant must be planning to study Business, Finance, Mathematics, Natural/Physical Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Education, Medicine, or Health Administration.

CANFIT Scholarships - Scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students attending an accredited college or university in California who are pursing degrees in Nutrition, Physical Education, or Culinary Arts. Applicant must be of African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian American, Pacific Islander or Latino/Hispanic descent.

Dr. Arthur A. Kezian DDS Science Scholarship - $1,200 - Description: Scholarship is open to students who will be attending a college or university in the Fall of 2019 and majoring in a science field. Applicant must be a resident of the United States or Canada. Applicant must submit an essay on why they deserve the scholarship and a 1-minute video introduction.

Science Student Scholarship - $500 - Description: Scholarship is open to students currently working towards a degree in one of the many fields of science. Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA.

API Study Abroad and Intern Abroad Scholarships - Description: Scholarships are open to API program participants. There are multiple scholarships with specific requirements – see website for details. In addition to general scholarships, there are scholarships specifically open to community college students, military veterans, non-traditional students, students with disabilities, minority students, LGBTQ students, STEM majors, and student athletes.

STEM Teacher Graduate Scholarships - $5,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to students actively pursuing a graduate degree or credential/licensure for the purpose of teaching STEM (science, technology, engineering or math) subjects at a U.S. school in grades K-12.

Student Scholarships in Cardiovascular Disease and Stroke - $2,000 - Description: Scholarships are open to students in medical schools or in master’s or equivalent programs in an accredited school in the United States where training in cardiovascular disease and stroke is available.

AFCCE Scholarships - $2,500 - Description: Scholarship is open to college students undertaking a full-time undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited U.S. college or university with a major in engineering or science and related to the telecommunications field.

Montana Life Members Scholarship -$1,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to current college students who are Montana residents and citizens of the United States and are majoring in Conservation, Horticulture, Parks or Forestry, Greenhouse Management, Land Management or related subjects.

Lamey Wellehan Maine Difference Scholarship -$1,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to Maine high school seniors who will graduate in the spring and who will enter a Maine college in the fall OR a graduate of a Maine high school in one of the four years preceding the current year who will be enrolled in a Maine college in the fall. Applicant studies should be on the ecology and economics of Maine.

ExtremeTerrain’s Student Scholarship - $3,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to students who are/will be pursuing a degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental Research, Land Use, Earth & Atmosphere Studies, Sustainable Land Management, Parks and Recreation, or Sustainable Agriculture Systems during the fall term.

Addiction Science Scholarship - $1,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to accepted and enrolled college students who are pursuing a degree and/or career in the field of Addiction Sciences (addiction studies, mental health, neurochemistry, etc.)

Supporting STEM Scholarship - $1,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current college students who have at least a 3.0 GPA and is/will be majoring in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) field of study.

Caroline E. Holt Nursing Scholarship  - Amount: $2,500 - Open to students accepted or enrolled in an accredited school of nursing who have financial need.


AAUS Student Scholarships - Amount: Up to $3,000 - For current graduate students who are members of AAUS.

Astanza Hair Removal Laser Scholarship - Amount: $1,500 - For students enrolling in an accredited college in the upcoming fall with at least a 3.0. Student must be pursuing an education in Physics, Biology, Engineering, Medicine, Nursing, or other natural or applied science fields.


ILMA Foundation Scholarship Program - Amount: Up to $5,000 - For  incoming and current college students. Preference will be given to students majoring in Math, Science, and Engineering. Applicant must submit an essay on why they should receive the scholarship.


Leidos STEM Scholarship - For STEM students who have at least a 2.5 GPA and will be an undergraduate student attending an HBCU or any other accredited four-year college or univeresity.


Anheuser-Bush Foundation | UNCF Scholarship Program - Amount: $4,000 - For student leaders entering their junior or senior year of study at a four-year accredited HBCU commencing fall of 2018. Applicant must be majoring in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Economics, Marketing, Sales, Finance, or Supply Chain Logistics.


Copernicus Foundation Scholarships - For college and university students of Polish descent from the Chicago area. Scholarships will be awarded based upon scholastic achievement in the areas of Performing Arts, Cultural Education, Business, Sciences, and Professional degrees.

Indiana Garden Club Scholarship - Amount: Minimum of $500 - For residents of Indiana County, Pennsylvania. Applicant must be majoring in ecology, horticulture, landscape design, landscape architecture, conservation, botany, forestry, agriculture, earth sciences, arboriculture, food science, forest ecosystems, plant pathology, or plant sciences.


Novus Biologicals Scholarship Program - Amount: $1,500 - For students enrolled or accepted for college enrollment with a declared major in a science related field. Applicant must submit a complete application, 140 character statement/tweet on their favorite scientific discovery as well as a personal statement on their education in science.


Supporting STEM Scholarship - Amount: $1,000 - For incoming and current college students who have at least a 3.0 GPA and is/will be majoring in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) field of study.


R&D Systems Scholarship - Amount: $1,500 - For students worldwide enrolled or accepted for enrollment in undergraduate or graduate studies with a declared major in a science related field. Applicant must submit a 140 character statement/tweet on why they deserve the scholarship and a personal statement on how they plan to use their degree to further advance science in the field of their interest.

Allen A. and Dorothy Belle Dickey Scholarship - Amount: Up to $5,000 - For graduates of Weston County (Wyoming) high schools and GED recipients of Weston County who wish to attend a Wyoming community college or the University of Wyoming. American Legion – Department of Kansas Scholarships - Amount: Varies - For graduating high school seniors and current college students from the state of Kansas.
