The Roberta Scofield Memorial Certification Award - Recognizes nurses who are committed to oncology nursing. Up to 100 applicants will receive free registration for an ONCC certification examination or renewal.

Mary Scherbring ONS Institutes of Learning Conference Scholarships - Registered nurses interested in furthering their career as oncology nurses by attending the ONC Institutes of Learning Conference may qualify for one of the Mary Scherbring ONS Institutes of Learning Conference Scholarships. An educational grant of up to $1,200 is applied toward attending the Conference.
Bachelor's in Nursing Degree Scholarship - Individuals who are interested in and committed to oncology nursing may qualify for the Bachelor's in Nursing Degree Scholarship. Up to $2,000 is awarded annually for these bachelor's scholarships.
Multidisciplinary Cancer Education Grant - Meniscus Limited sponsors one annual Multidisciplinary Cancer Education Grant for $3,000 for an oncology RN development and/or implementing an cancer related multidisciplinary education or practice project for other healthcare professionals with preference given to a focus on survivorship.
Pearl Moore Career Development Awards - Three professional staff nurses looking to further their professional goals will receive one of the Pearl Moore Career Development Awards supported by Anthony J. Jannetti, Inc. Each recipient receives a plaque and $3,000 to provide financial assistance to attend a continue education program(s).
Master's and Post-Master's Certificate Scholarships - Registered nurses who are interested in making a commitment to oncology nursing and want to continue their education by pursuing a master's degree may qualify for one of the Master's and Post Master's Certificate Scholarships of up to $3,000 each.
Roberta Pierce Scofield and Ann Olson Doctoral Scholarships - Registered nurses committed to oncology nursing who want to pursue a doctoral degree may qualify for doctoral scholarships of $3,000 and $5,000 annually.
Advanced Practice Nurse Conference Scholarship - A professional nurse who demonstrates innovation and who has made a difference in oncology nursing may qualify for the Advanced Practice Nurse Conference Scholarship. Applicants may apply on their own or be nominated by an ONS chapter or Special Interest Group (SIG). Recipients get a grant of up to $1,200 toward the ONS Oncology Advanced Practice Nurse Conference.
Congress Scholarships - Professional nurses committed to oncology nursing who want to attend the ONS Congress may qualify for Congress Scholarships supported by the ONS Foundation Nancy Berkowitz Scholarship Fund, Mary Scherbring Scholarship Fund and Issie Rembert “Chappi” Chapman Scholarship. The education grant is up to $1,200
Research Fellowship Award - Through an unrestricted grant from Genetech BioOncology, ONS foundation grants a one-year award of $20,000 to support short-term oncology research training and mentorships.
Ethnic Minority Bachelor's Scholarships in Oncology Nursing - Three awards of $2,000 are giving annually to students who qualify for the Ethnic Minority Bachelor's Scholarships in Oncology Nursing and are presented by the Oncology Nursing Society Foundation.
Lung Cancer Research Grant - This $50,000 grant provides funding to support the ONS Research Agenda and is supported by the National Lung Cancer Partnership and the ONS Foundation. Letters of intent are due by July 18 with an application deadline of August 15. The research team must include an experience researcher and a junior researcher to qualify for funding.
Small Research Grant - Small research grants of $10,000 each, with a funding period of 2 years, are designed to support oncology nursing research conduced by experienced and beginning researchers. Sandy Purl Mentorship Scholarships - In memory of the dedication and passion of oncology nurse Sandy Purl, the Sandy Purl Mentorship Scholarships recognizes nurses with a similar type of commitment. Up to $1,000 is awarded for an additional ONS Chapter member to attend the ONS Mentorship Weekend.
American Cancer Society Scholarships - Students enrolled in a Master of Science in Nursing program student may qualify for an American Cancer Society Scholarship of $10,00 each year for a period of up to two years. Graduate students in a doctoral program in cancer research, education, administration or clinical practice may qualify for an annual stipend of $15,000 for up to four years. Washington State Nurses Foundation (WSNF) Scholarships - A minimum of four $1,000 scholarships are awarded annually by the Wisconsin State Nurses Foundation (WSNF) and graduate students pursuing a career in oncology nursing are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be WSNF member, registered nurses and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and submit an official transcript with two applicant recommendation forms.
Nevada Cancer Institute Scholarships - Through the Siemens Oncology Scholarship Program, Nevada Cancer Institute awards four scholarships in the amount of $5,000 each. Registered nurses with a strong academic background pursuing graduate students in oncology are encouraged to apply for this finding.
California Oncology Nursing Scholarships - A nursing student with experience in the field of oncology nursing, end-of-life care or h hospice may qualify for the Joyce Lee Harper Memorial Scholarship Award at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Florida Oncology Nursing Scholarships - Registered nurses enrolled in the Master of Science in Nursing program with a passionate commitment to pediatric oncology nursing may qualify for a scholarship of $1,000 from the Association of Pediatric Oncology N urses (APON). Candidates must also be member of APON to qualify for these scholarships at Barry University in Florida.
Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance Scholarships - Funding is made available through the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA) through the support of the family of Anita Lubov to help oncology nurses attend helpful area conferences. The Anita Lubov Memorial Fund awards up to $3,000 each year to help oncology nurses increase their knowledge of ovarian cancer, help improve their care of women with ovarian cancer and help them educate others about the disease.
Space Coast Oncology Nursing Scholarships - Oncology nurses at Cape Canaveral Hospital, Rockledge, Parrish Medical Center, Holmes Regional Medical Center, Viera Hospital, Wuesthoff Medical Center, Palm Bay Hospital and Wuesthoff Medical Center-Melbourne may qualify for one of ten $200 scholarships per hospital from the Space Coast Cancer Foundation.
