Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation Scholars Program - Amount: Up to $6,250 - Description: Program is open to children – whether natural, by marriage or adoption – who have lost a parent in the line of military duty, during combat or peacetime. All branches (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, or Coast Guard) and all components (active, reserve and guard are covered).

Educational Benefits for Children of Deceased Veterans and Others - Description: Program is open to residents of the state of Delaware between the ages of 16 and 24 years of age whose parent was a resident of Delaware at the time of death or declaration of mission in action or prisoner of war status.

Wells Fargo Veterans Emergency Grant Program - Amount: Up to $1,000 - Description: Grant program is open to honorably-discharged veterans and spouses of disabled veterans who have served in the United States military. Applicant must be a student who is already enrolled in full-time undergraduate or graduate study.

Military Scholarships - Amount: $5,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to veterans and active members of the U.S. military who are enrolled at a private or public educational institution, and working towards a certificate, diploma, or degree.

Military Spouse Scholarships & Caregiver Scholarships - Description: Scholarship is open to post-9/11 spouses and caregivers who are undergraduate or graduate degree students. In addition to the general scholarships, there scholarships open specifically to those pursuing entry-level classes or training, spouses of the fallen, and MSW students.

Clifford H. “Ted” Rees, Jr. Scholarship - Amount: $2,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to students enrolled in a HVACR training program at an accredited school. In addition to the general scholarship, there is a scholarship specifically for military veterans.

API Study Abroad and Intern Abroad Scholarships - Description: Scholarships are open to API program participants. There are multiple scholarships with specific requirements – see website for details. In addition to general scholarships, there are scholarships specifically open to community college students, military veterans, non-traditional students, students with disabilities, minority students, LGBTQ students, STEM majors, and student athletes.

Leadership Essay Contest - Amount: Up to $5,000 - Description: Contest is open to junior officers, 0-4 (LCDR/MAJ) and below, from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Coast Guard. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to leadership.

CCME Joe King Scholarship - Amount: $1,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to uniformed service members (active, reserves, guard) who are currently enrolled in an educational program at a regional or national accredited institution and is a member institution of CCME.

CCME Loretta Cornett-Huff Scholarship - Amount: $1,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to spouses of uniformed service members (active, reserve, guard, veteran) who are currently enrolled in an educational program in a regional or national accredited institution and is a member institution of CCME.

Google SVA Scholarship - Amount: $10,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to student veterans who are currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited four-year university for the 2018-2019 academic year. Applicant must be pursuing a Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree, or a degree in a closely related technical field.

H&P Veterans Helping Veterans Scholarships - Amount: $1,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to veterans of the armed forces who plan to use their education to help fellow veterans.

SportClips Veterans’ Scholarship - Amount: Up to $5,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to students who are retired, honorably discharged, active duty, or a member of the National Guard or Reserve. Applicant must participate in, be accepted to, or currently enrolled in a VA-approved program or school at an accredited post-secondary institution.

War Veterans Scholarship - Amount: $2,500 - Description: Scholarship is open to persons on active duty in the uniformed military services, to honorably discharged U.S. military veterans (including Reservists and National Guard personnel) of the Enduring Freedom-Afghanistan or Iraqi Freedom Operations who are currently enrolled and attending classes in an Undergraduate program part-time or full-time in an eligible STEM major degree program at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.

Daniel E. Lambert Memorial Scholarship - Amount: $1,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current college students who are residents of Maine and have a parent or grandparent who is a veteran.

James V. Day Scholarship - Amount: $500 - Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current college students who are residents of Maine. Applicant must have a parent or grandparent who is a member of the Maine American Legion.
