Spence Reese Scholarship - This generous award is renewable for up to four years and scholarships averaging $4,000 per year are awarded to male high school seniors who plan to pursue degrees in medicine, engineering, law and political science. The Spence Reese Scholarship is funded by the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego, but you don't have to be a club member or a San Diego resident to apply. You may, however, have to attend a personal interview in San Diego.
Assembly for Men In Nursing - This professional association funds eight to 10 awards each year for men pursuing nursing licensure; they also link to some other solid scholarship sources in the field.
The Men of Excellence Scholarship from Phi Kappa Si at Iowa State University gives incoming male freshmen or transfer students a chance to win a scholarship if they demonstrate scholastic, extracurricular, and leadership experience and complete an essay on why they are men of excellence. While the fraternity sponsors this scholarship, you don't have to be a member of Phi Kappa Si to win.
Distinct Advantage Scholarship, which awards a $1,000 scholarship to one male at every campus with an Alpha Tau Omega chapter.
The Balanced Man Scholarship from Sigma Phi Epsilon, which has fraternity chapters at 150 campuses across the country, is available to incoming male freshmen who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership skills, and a commitment to health and well-being. Membership is not required.
American Honda Foundation Scholarship - Amount: Up to $2,750 - Description: Scholarship is open to minority male students who are classified as undergraduate students at any accredited four-year college or university within the United States and enrolled in one of the STEM fields. Applicant must be a permanent resident of a targeted area of Los Angeles (Carson, Compton, Harbor City, Long Beach, Lynwood, Watts, Willowbrook, or Wilmington).
National Eagle Scout Association Scholarships - Description: Scholarships are open to high school seniors through college juniors who are Eagle Scouts.
Scholarships4Dads Scholarship - Amount: $10,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to dads who are currently enrolled, or will be enrolled within the next three months, in a college or university in the United States. Applicant must submit a short form to be entered for the scholarship.
Six Star Scholarship - Amount: $15,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to legal residents of the United States who are between the ages of 18 and 22 years of age and are either graduating high school seniors or current college students. Applicant should be someone who excels in athletics, academics (at least a 3.0 GPA), and community.
