Beldon Scholarship - Amount: $1,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to students seeking a degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field. Applicant must have at least a 3.5 GPA. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to business.

Michael Jackson Scholarship - Amount: Up to $5,000 - Description: Scholarship is open to students studying communication arts or social science who are attending a UNCF college/university during the 2018-2019 academic year with at least a 2.5 GPA.

Business Student Scholarship - Amount: $500 - Description: Scholarship is open to students currently working towards a degree in a field of business such as Accounting, Advertising, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Human Resources, International Relations, Management, Political Science, Public Relations, etc. Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA.

Marion Motley Scholarship - Amount: $2,500 per year – renewable for four years - Scholarship is open to high school seniors from Northwest Ohio who plan to major in areas that could lead to careers working in education or for a professional sports organization, such as but not limited to: accounting, business, communications, event management, exercise science, finance, graphic design, human resources, information technology, journalism, kinesiology, marketing/advertising, public relations, or sports management.

BEA Scholarship - Amount: Up to $5,000 - Open to current college juniors, seniors, and graduate students attending a BEA Member institution. Applicant must be studying radio, television, or other electronic media.

NCJW/LA Scholarship Program - Amount: Up to $2,000 - Description: Scholarships are open to students who live and attend school in the Greater Los Angeles area, including Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and Ventura Counties. Applicant must be trying to better their lives through education in the aftermath of trauma, loss and other setbacks. There are scholarships open to all majors and specific scholarships for nursing majors, mothers, non-traditional students, education majors, and film/television/cinema/theater majors.

Dwayne Graves Online Entrepreneur Spirit Scholarship - Amount: $500 - Description: Scholarship is open to high school and college students interested in entrepreneurship. Studying in the fields of Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Communications, or IT are recommended, but not required. Applicant must submit a video on why they deserve to win the scholarship.

American Copy Editors Society, Education Fund of the American Copy Editors Society

Benefits: Five scholarships totaling $6,500, Details: Top award is $2,500, with four other awards valued at $1,000 each

Asian American Journalists Association

Benefits: Eight scholarships available, ranging from $500 to $5,000

Sports Journalism Institute: Eight-week paid sports journalism internship and a $500 scholarship
Stanford Chen Internship Grant: $1,750 available to college juniors, seniors, and graduate students in journalism.
Print and Online News Internship Grant: $1,000 is available to support students and recent grads to have secured a print or online news internship for the summer.
CIC/Anna Chennault Scholarship: $5,000 to graduating high school seniors and college students who have a passion for journalism.
Mary Quon Moy Ing Memorial Scholarship: Up to $2,000 available to current college students or graduating high school seniors interested in pursuing journalism as a career.
Vincent Chin Memorial Scholarship: $500 available to current student journalists; must write an essay about the legacy of Vincent Chin.
