DMEF Scholarship - Marketing company DMEF knows what makes a good advertising mind. So it comes as no surprise that they offer nine DMEF Scholarships to undergraduate students every year. Advertising majors can fill out one application for all the awards offered. In order to be eligible for any of the scholarships, students must have at least a 3.0 GPA. The scholarships must be used towards tuition at a four-year institution.  Amount: $1,000

Lagrant Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship - Students who attend a four-year college and maintain a 2.75 GPA qualify for the Lagrant Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship. Designed to help minority students break into the advertising industry, the award offers a one-time scholarship to marketing majors.

The educational support doesn’t end once the winner receives their money, however. The Lagrant Foundation offers a career workshop and awards reception. Students also receive career advice, job assistance, and academic support. If you’re interested in the award, prepare to write a two-page paper on how you’ll work to increase minority representation in advertising.  Amount: $5,000

EDSF Board of Directors Scholarship - The Electronic Document Scholarship Federation offers over 40 prizes each year. Students who are majoring or taking classes in communications, marketing, or design can apply for more than 25 different scholarships. Though the electronic document industry sounds a bit different than advertising, don’t be alarmed – the industry includes anyone who creates, manages, stores, or distributes electronic ad campaigns.  Amount: $1,000 to $5,000

IFEC Scholarship - Eight different scholarships are available for advertising majors through the International Food Service Editorial Council. If you’re not someone with much food experience, don’t worry – the IFEC Scholarship accepts any level of involvement, such as copywriting or even food photography.  Amount: $500 to $4,000

Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship - Women have become a more common sight in the business world, but Zonta International intendeds to increase their involvement even more. The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship is given to female undergraduates worldwide.  Amount: $1,000 scholarships at the district/regional level; $7,000 scholarships at the national level

Odenza Marketing Group Scholarship - Anyone between the ages of 16 and 25 can enter the Odenza Marketing Group Scholarship contest. The award, created by a marketing company for marketing, advertising and public relations students, isn’t extremely competitive. The applicant pool is small, meaning all entries have a higher chance of winning. To apply, students must have at least a 2.5 GPA and are required to submit an essay.  Amount: $500
